Home, sweet sweet home
My parents just sold the house that we moved into when I was 7. They are moving to a town an hour outside the city.
I am somewhat freaked out about this, even though I've known about it for months and months. Aren't I supposed to be an independent, healthily-functioning adult? Wasn't I weaned from my mother's breast eons ago?
Apparently not, because I am still freaking out. And also, crying into my soup a bit.
Change sucks and I do not deal with it well.

i hear that. the home i grew up in is near its sale and i'm also a little freaked out about that prospect. no home to go back to that i grew up in!
I think that is absolutely sad and difficult no matter how old you are or how long you've been weaned. After my mom died, my step-father immediately sold the house I grew up in and, even though it's been 15 years, every time I drive by it I am flooded with memories. I like Liz's idea of finding a way to say good-bye and thank you to your home.
thanks for your kind words megan! it was great fun and a good experience all around.
Holy shit! You, too? My parents have their house up for sale. They bought it 2 years before I was born. :(
Take a lot of pictures.

I made my dad promise me right of first refusal on our house. hahahaha
hey - go steal the house numbers and use them to make a collage or something. A tribute!

Alot of interesting comments on this blog, I was searching for better sex related info and some how came across this site. I found it pretty cool, so I bookmarked. I'll really liked the ##TITLE entry, that got my attention.
My site is in a similar niche and some might find it as useful. I have a better sex related site focusing on ##KEYWORD related topics.
